Privacy Policy

The short version
The files you work on never leave your device. Every foneg tool runs inside your web browser. We do not receive, store or see your documents, images, videos, audio or text. We keep only what we need to run your account and your subscription.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
- Subscription details: your plan, its status and renewal date, and the identifiers Polar gives us for your customer record and subscription. We never see or store your card details.
- What you send us: tool requests you submit from the app and emails you send to support.
- Favorites: the list of tools you pin, so it can follow your account.
What we do not collect
- The files you open in a tool, their names, their contents or the results you download.
- Which tools you use or how often. The app has no analytics or tracking scripts.
- Advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no ad trackers.
What stays in your browser
To work quickly, the app keeps some data in your own browser storage on your device: your theme and recent tools, some tool settings, and the processing engines (for example the video engine and the AI models) so they are downloaded only once. This website remembers only whether you chose light or dark mode. You can clear all of it from your browser settings at any time. We cannot read it.
Cookies
We use one kind of cookie: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in to app.foneg.com. It is strictly necessary for the service. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase hosts our account database and sign-in, in the European Union (Ireland).
- Cloudflare serves the website and app.
- Polar is our merchant of record. It processes payments, taxes, receipts and invoices under its own privacy policy.
- Google handles sign-in when you choose "Continue with Google".
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account from the account page, your profile, team memberships, tool requests and subscription records are deleted from our database. Polar keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in the app, delete your account at any time, and ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you or to correct or delete it by emailing [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will email account holders before they take effect.
